Summary
Organization Admins can set age restrictions on Membership Types, giving them control over both minimum and maximum age requirements. For example, you can create memberships for “21 and over,” “under 30,” or even define an age range such as “16 or older and 30 or under.”
How can this help my Organization?
Age restrictions help organizations manage memberships more effectively, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, safety concerns, and community standards. Whether it’s a youth sports league, an adult-only club, or a group designed for a specific age bracket, these options provide flexibility to create membership types that fit your needs.
How to set this up
Go to the 'Members' tab, then click 'Membership Types'.
Select the Membership Type you’d like to add an Age Restriction for.
Click 'Edit Age Restriction'.
Choose whether you’d like to set a Minimum Age, a Maximum Age, or both.

Example Scenarios
Here are a few examples of how organizations might use age restrictions:
Youth Sports League: Limit participants to ages 8–14 to keep teams age-appropriate.
Adult-Only Club: Set a minimum age of 21 with no maximum, ensuring compliance with age-sensitive activities.
Young Professional Network: Require members to be between 18 and 35, creating a peer-focused community.
Senior Membership: Set a minimum age of 60 for discounted or special programs.
