When you use Join It, we host your Member Portal - a centralized space where members can purchase new memberships, renew existing ones, update their information, and manage their accounts.

There are several ways to connect your Member Portal to your standalone website, and one of the most effective options is through Join It’s widgets. Widgets allow you to integrate membership functionality directly into your website while maintaining a seamless experience for your members.

Available Widgets

Within your Organization Dashboard, Join It provides several widget options:

Embeddable Widget
Donation Widget
Button Widget
Link Widget

Each widget offers different levels of customization and integration depending on how you want members to interact with your portal.

How to Access Your Widget Settings:

From your Dashboard, click Member Portal.
Select Portal Widgets.
Choose the widget you’d like to explore and customize.

Embeddable Widget

The Embeddable Widget can be integrated directly into your website, allowing members to purchase or renew memberships without leaving your site.

This creates a seamless user experience and keeps your branding front and center throughout the membership process.

Configuration Options:

Widget Size
Set the width and height of the iFrame to ensure it fits your website layout. You can adjust these dimensions at any time without needing to re-implement the code.

Allowed Operations
Choose whether the widget supports:

Purchase only
Purchase and Renewal

If both are enabled, members will be prompted to select their action before continuing.

Advanced Customization of Embeddable Widget

For organizations on the Extra and Enterprise packages, additional styling options are available. This lets you align the widget with your website’s branding for a polished, professional look.

To Customize the Colors:

Click on the Background Color bar or the Panel Background Color bar.
Choose a color from the palette or enter the RGB number code.
Click Update Colors to apply changes and preview them in real time.

This flexibility ensures your embeddable widget blends seamlessly into your site design.

Donation Widget

The Donation Widget allows members to add a donation directly from your website.

To embed the Donation Widget:

Navigate to the Member Portal tab.
Click Portal Widgets.
Then click View Donation Widget
Copy the embed code provided and paste it into your website’s HTML where you’d like the widget to appear.

Button Widget

The Button Widget creates a customizable button that links from your website to your Member Portal.

Configuration Options:

Set the destination:
- Member Portal homepage
- Member login page
- A specific membership checkout page
Customize the button text
Adjust the button color
Choose whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab

Once configured, copy the button code and place it anywhere on your website

Link Widget

The Link Widget allows you to create simple hyperlinks to your Member Portal.

Configuration Options:

Set the destination:
- Member Portal homepage
- Member login page
- A specific membership checkout page
Customize the link text
Choose whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab

After configuring the link, copy the generated code and add it to your site where needed.
