Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if a user is already in the Slack group when they are invited to join the Slack group? Will they be added to additional channels that are configured?
When a membership is created, we'll invite the respective email to your Slack group. If the email is already a user within your Slack group, then Slack will reject this creation of an invite. So instead, the Slack integration will notify you, via Slackbot in your Slack app, of the exception by sending a message with the members name, email, and membership type.
