Setting Up Donation Payments
Turning on the Donation Module
If you’d like to display the Donation option on your Member Portal, you’ll first need to activate the Donations module.
To do this:
Navigate to the Member Portal tab.
Click Customize Portal.
On the customization page, activate the Donations Module.

Donation Widget
Embed the Donation Widget on your website so members can easily add a donation
To do this:
Navigate to the Member Portal tab.
Click Portal Widgets.
Then click View Donation Widget
Copy the embed code provided and paste it into your website’s HTML where you’d like the widget to appear.

Using the Direct Link option
If you prefer not to display the Donations module on your Member Portal, you can still collect donations by sharing a direct link with potential donors.
To use the direct link option:
Locate your Member Portal URL by navigating to the View Member Portal button in the bottom left-hand corner of your dashboard.
Append /donate to the end of the URL.
Share the link with potential donors.

Key Benefits of the Donations Payments
No Membership Required: Donors can contribute without needing to create a Membership record.
Integrated with Member Portal: Organizations can collect donations via their Member Portal.
Multiple Ways to Accept Donations: Organizations can add the Donations module to their Member Portal or share a direct link for contributions.
Donor Convenience:
Donors have the option to cover an estimated 5% fee or decline it.
Automatic donation confirmation emails with attached receipts.
Instant receipt downloads available on the confirmation page.
Limitations of the Donations Payments
While this Donation feature provides an easy and streamlined donation process, there are a few constraints:
No Customization for Confirmation Emails: Organizations cannot modify the automated donation confirmation emails.
Fixed "Cover the Fee" Option: The fee percentage (5%) is set and cannot be changed by the organization.
Standardized Confirmation Page: Organizations do not have control over the layout or content of the confirmation page.
