Slack has quickly taken over the world as the messaging platform of choice -- and many organizations that use Join It asked about connecting their Slack groups to automatically send out invitations when members join.
Well, we have some good news!
With Join It, you can now connect your Member Database to your Slack Group.
How do I set it up?

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if a user is already in the Slack group when they are invited to join the Slack group? Will they be added to additional channels that are configured?
When a membership is created, we'll invite the respective email to your Slack group. If the email is already a user within your Slack group, then Slack will reject this invitation. So instead, the Slack integration will notify you, via Slackbot in your Slack app, of the exception by sending a message with the member's name, email, and membership type.
