Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if someone is already in our Slack group when the automation runs?
If a member’s email already exists in your Slack group, Slack will reject the invite. In that case, the Slack integration will notify you directly via Slackbot. The message will include the member’s name, email, and membership type, so you're aware of the duplicate and can take action if needed.
How do I set up Notifications for New Members to Slack?
You can set this up under the Slack automation card in Join It as well. Here's where you can learn more on how to do this.
