Summary

Join It makes it easy to bring over Members that already have subscriptions set up in Stripe. Read below to learn how we can help with the process!

Steps to Transfer Stripe Subscriptions to Join It

Verify Existing Subscriptions

Ensure members already have active subscriptions in Stripe. This process works only with subscriptions set up within Stripe.

Download the Bulk Import Template

Next you'll download the Bulk import template that can be downloaded here: https://app.joinit.com/members/bulk-import

Add Stripe Customer ID

Locate each member’s Stripe Customer ID in Stripe and input it into the corresponding column in the template.

Add Stripe Subscription ID

You'll also want to grab the Stripe Subscription ID and add that into the Bulk import template - you can add this as a column and list it as "stripe_subscription_id" in the members template.

Set Rebilling Date

You'll then want to add a column listed as "rebilling_date" with the date you want them to auto re-bill on.

Complete the Import

If we have both the Stripe Customer ID and the Subscription ID added for a Member on the Import sheet, then that would connect to their existing Stripe subscription in Join It when the import is done!
