One thing that we've consistently heard from Organizations evaluating Join It is that they want to fully understand the functionality of Join It and the experience of their members before committing to a new membership solution.
So Join It created a Test Mode, where Organizations can try out the platform in a safe environment.

When an Organization is in Test Mode, here's what you get:
No Accidental Emails: While in Test Mode, emails will not be sent to your members. Instead of emails being delivered to members, all Automated Emails will go to the designated admin recipients - who can be viewed and edited here.
Test Your Checkout: On your Profile, you'll be able to 'checkout' without entering payment details when your Organization is in test mode. This means you can see the entire Membership experience (minus the actual Online Payment -- if your curious what Membership Invoices look like, you can see those here).
Hidden from Search Engines: While in Test Mode, your Profile will have a 'no index' tag in the document head - so that Search Engines won't crawl this page until you're ready (in laymen's terms - that means it'll be invisible to Google/Bing until you're 'Live').
Easily 'Go Live': Within your Admin Dashboard, you'll see a notification on your account -- which tells you whether it's in Test Mode. If you're in Test Mode and ready to Go Live, then you can Activate through this link: https://app.joinit.com/activate
How to test Membership Checkout
One of the most powerful parts of Test Mode, is that organization admins can see the full checkout experience from the perspective of their members.
When the Organization is in Test Mode, the checkout form is hidden (so credit/debit cards aren't collected) -- so that a member can register with an Offline Payment. This is intended to allow organization admins to checkout, view the confirmation message, and the members portal before activating their organization.

Automated Emails while in Test Mode
Before we introduced Test Mode, there were cases where Automated Emails would go out to members before the Organization was ready to launch.
As a solution, while an Organization is in Test Mode the Automated Emails will only go to the designed admin's of the Organization based on the settings within the Automated Emails.
Quick & Easy Emails while in Test Mode
While in Test Mode, our 'Quick & Easy Email' tool can also be tested. If an email is sent using this tool while in Test Mode, the email will be delivered to the logged in user only.
