Email Viewing Duration by Package
The time window during which you can view recently sent emails depends on your Join It package:
Package | Viewing Window |
Starter Package | 7 days |
Total Package | 30 days |
Extra Package | 30 days |
Enterprise package | 30 days |
Join It sends millions of emails annually, and with that volume growing, it's not feasible to store every message indefinitely. These viewing windows help ensure system performance and reliability.
Understanding 'Delivered' Status
What Does 'Delivered' Mean?
When an email is marked as Delivered, it indicates that the recipient’s email server has successfully received the message. This confirmation is sent back to Join Its email delivery platform as part of the standard email protocol.
However, it's important to understand what this doesn’t mean:
Delivered does not confirm that the email was placed in the recipient's inbox.
It also does not indicate that the email was opened or read.
Once delivered, it’s up to the recipient’s email provider (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, iCloud) to determine what happens next — whether it goes to the inbox, spam, or is automatically archived.
If an email appears as Delivered, it confirms that there were no issues on Join It’s end in sending the message.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can a member subscribe or unsubscribe from Join It emails?
At the bottom of every Join It email, there’s a link labeled “Unsubscribe or update your preferences” or similar. Members can click this link to:
Unsubscribe from future emails
Resubscribe if they’ve previously opted out
This gives members full control over the types of communications they wish to receive. No admin action is needed—it's a self-service option available in every message.
Why didn’t the email show up in the recipient’s inbox?
While the email shows it was delivered if it's shown in their 'Recent Emails' tab, the recipient’s email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, iCloud) may have sorted it into spam, promotions, or another folder. Join It does not control how email providers handle messages after delivery.
It's always recommended to have the Member check their Spam folder and make sure that they're subscribed to Join It emails!
