When a membership record is created by an organization admin on behalf of a member, there won't be a password set for them.

So, Join It provides a quick workflow for members to claim their password -- so that they can update their account information, payment details, or view the status of their membership.

Step 1: Visit the Organization's profile and click 'Login'

The first step for a member to set their password is to visit the profile of their organization and below the membership types, there is a prompt for 'Already a member? Login'. They should click 'Login'.

Alternatively, you can direct them to your the 'members' part of your profile -- which would prompt them to login immediately (you can find the URL for this part of your profile by adding '/members' to the end of your profile URL).

Step 2: Enter their email address

Clicking on 'Login' will bring up a modal prompting them to enter their email address. When they enter their email, Join It will check to see if they have a password set.

If they have a password, then Join It will prompt them to login immediately.

If they do not have a password, then Join It will automatically send them an email with a password reset link.

If they had not previously set a password, then Join It will automatically send them an email with a password reset link. Clicking on the link will take them to set their password. Once a password is set, they will be redirected to their memberships for the organization.
