Summary
Join It integrates with Emma to help you keep your mailing lists in sync with your membership database. This automation ensures new members are automatically added to the correct Emma list, saving time and reducing manual work.
How the Emma Integration Works
With this integration enabled, new members are automatically added to a selected list in your Emma account. Organizations can configure the automation to fit their needs by choosing one or more of the following options:
Sync all members to a single Emma list
Sync members from a specific membership type to a selected Emma list
Create multiple automations so different membership types are added to different Emma lists
How to Connect to Emma from Join It
To connect Emma and automatically add new members to the appropriate list, follow these steps:

Frequently Asked Questions
One of my Memberships that's Active in Join It isn't a part of the designated Group in Emma - what could have happened?
According to Emma’s help center, one important thing to note about Audience Groups is that contacts can self-select their interest groups.
If you see that a membership record in Join It has successfully synced to Emma, but the contact is not included in the designated group, it’s possible the member opted out of that group using Emma’s manage preferences form.
