Join It makes it easy for organization admins to see whether a member has unsubscribed from emails delivered through the platform. This helps you understand which members are currently receiving your messages and which have opted out.
How to Check a Member’s Subscription Status
Navigate to the Membership record for the member you want to review.
Select the 'Recent Emails' tab.
Here, you’ll see whether the member is still subscribed to receive emails sent via Join It.
When you open the 'Recent Emails' tab, Join It checks the member’s subscription status in real time and displays one (or more) of the following notifications:
{email} has not unsubscribed and is able to receive emails via Join It
{email} has unsubscribed from Quick & Easy Emails
{email} has unsubscribed from emails sent via our Automated Emails tool

How Members Can Manage Their Email Preferences
Members can easily subscribe or unsubscribe from emails at any time:
Open any email sent via Join It.
Click the “Unsubscribe or update your preferences” link at the bottom of the email.
Update their email preferences on the page that opens, choosing which types of emails they want to receive or opting out completely.
This ensures members have full control over the messages they receive while keeping your communications compliant with email regulations.

Why is my Member only Unsubscribed from Quick & Easy Emails / Automated Emails?
To be compliant with email SPAM regulation, Join It includes unsubscribe links in the footer of all emails delivered via our system. The unsubscribe links include the option to unsubscribe from emails of that specific type (e.g. Quick & Easy or Automated Emails) or to globally unsubscribe from all emails. So if a member is unsubscribed from a certain type, then it's because they chose to be removed from that group of recipients.
Can I Resubscribe a Member who has Unsubscribed?
No. Only the member can manage their own email preferences. If a member has unsubscribed, you can encourage them to update their preferences via the “Unsubscribe or update your preferences” link in any Join It email.
