Admins can now add 'Comments' onto Membership records! We're excited about this feature because we think this feature will be extensible and serve a wide variety of needs.

It'll allow you to add separate Notes
Updates to the Membership/Member could be added
Tasks that were completed or need completion
Sales outside of Join It, such as merchandise sales

How can I add a Comment?
We made this super easy to use so all you have to do is search for a member, then click 'Add a Comment' on their Membership.
Can Members view the Comments?
Nope! Members cannot view the Comments or Notes under their Membership.
How long can the comments be? Is there a character limit?
There’s no character limit.
Is there a limit to the number of comments that admins can post per member?
Nope!
Can admins post clickable links there?
For the first launch of this feature, it'll be for plaintext only
Can admins post images in the comments section?
Nope! It does not currently render HTML / Markdown
Does it support emoticons, symbols etc...?
Yep! If you enter emoticons using an emoji keyboard, they should generally be supported (depends on browser, device, etc.).
Can they tag or call out a specific member or admin through it?
No, not for the first version.
Can comments be updated or deleted by any admin?
Comments can be deleted by clicking on the timestamp.
