For organizations that have complex event ticketing or registration needs, we partner with services like Eventbrite.
However, when an organization needs to collect a simple free registration from their members for an event - we've offer integrated event registration.
How to set up event registration
As an organization admin in Join It, you can enable free event registrations under your events:
Navigate to the 'Events' section
Configure the 'Registration Settings' to be 'free registration required'. This can be done while creating the event or once the event has already been created.
Define your registration type by giving it a name, and determining who has access by membership type and membership status.
You're good to go!
How to view who has registered for an event
Once you're collecting registrations for your event, then you'll have the ability to browse and search your list of registrations:
Navigate to the 'Events' section
Select the respective event
Scroll down to the 'Registration Settings' panel and click on 'View Registrants'
You're all set!
Add to Calendar
Once an event is created in Join It, members can easily add it to their personal calendar directly from the event page.
To do this, they simply click the “Add to Calendar” button on the event. From there, they’ll have the option to add the event to their preferred calendar platform, including:
Google Calendar
Outlook
Apple Calendar
This helps members keep track of upcoming events and ensures they don’t miss important dates. The event details (such as date, time, and description) will automatically be included when added to their calendar.
